MEET THE ROBOT

Get to know Dippy.

The little robot represents the background workers that keep Dips rewards moving.

What does Dippy actually do?

Dippy is our mascot for the automation. The animation tells the story; the work is done by software watching the blockchain and submitting reward transactions. It is a set of programmed rules, not an AI deciding when you deserve a reward.

Each registered Dips coin gets its own price monitor and rewards worker, with its own jar and history. A shared discovery service finds launches, checks their contracts, and starts the appropriate workers.

From fees to rewards

  1. Find the coin. Discovery checks launch events and verifies the coin, creator, and Dips jar. The creator must finish linking the jar before automatic rewards are active.
  2. Collect creator fees. The rewards worker collects eligible fees into the coin’s jar when the minimum fee amount and gas limits allow it. Tiny amounts may wait until collection is worthwhile.
  3. Watch trades. The monitor processes on-chain trades in order, including supported pool trades after graduation. It uses an ETH/USD price feed to track USD value and the reference used for dips.
  4. Detect the drop. New tracked highs raise the reference. A 20% fall triggers a round and resets the reference to that crossed level. A larger fall can cross multiple levels.
  5. Calculate each holder’s share. The worker reconstructs eligible balances at the end of the dip’s block. Excluded system addresses do not receive a share. It prepares proofs that the contract can check.
  6. Publish the reward round. The worker submits the round. The jar reserves its permanently locked reward percentage of available ETH, excluding funds already reserved for earlier rounds. A funded, published round becomes available for holders to claim.

Dippy prepares it. You claim it.

Rewards do not automatically arrive in your wallet. Connect the wallet that held the tokens on Claim rewards to find published allocations across your coins. Confirm the claim transactions to receive ETH.

Your allocation follows your share of eligible token balances. Separate coin contracts can require separate wallet approvals and gas. An empty jar cannot fund a payout, and rounds with no eligible holders are skipped.

What keeps the workers reliable?

Workers save their progress so they can resume after a restart. They track transaction receipts, use shared signing locks, and check previously processed events to avoid duplicate submissions. Unexpected chain changes or inconsistent data can pause processing for reconciliation.

The price monitor and rewards publisher need a running host, an RPC connection, and enough ETH for network fees. An always-on server lets them run while your browser is closed. A website domain by itself does not run these workers.

Our local setup still needs always-on hosting and the final deployed live test. Check My coins for actual monitoring status. Seeing Dippy wave is not a service-health indicator.

What Dippy cannot promise

Dippy cannot stop selling, support the token price, or guarantee recovery after a dip. The rocket animation is an illustration of rewards, not a price guarantee. Rewards depend on collected fees, eligible balances, and successful publication.

The reporter supplies prices and holder snapshots. This is a trust assumption in the system, even though the contract verifies claim proofs and prevents duplicate claims. The new jar does not give the creator an owner withdrawal function.
